Personalized Support for Young Artists
With an undergraduate degree in Art History, a Master’s degree in Art Education, and 10+ years of professional classroom teaching experience—including eight years working in IB school environments—I offer personalized support for both younger artists and secondary-school students.
Creative Art Lessons: €55 per hour

Secondary Art and Portfolio Mentoring: starting at €75 per hour
Individualized mentoring for older students, including those studying GCSE,
IB Visual Arts, or another secondary-school art program.
Rather than following a single predetermined lesson plan, sessions are tailored to the student’s current work, personal ideas, technical challenges, and school requirements. Support may include:
Developing ideas into original, resolved artworks
Working through creative blocks
Building specific drawing and painting skills
Breaking difficult elements into focused practice exercises
Planning and developing portfolio pieces
Reviewing work and identifying areas for improvement
Helping students become more confident and independent
Where syllabus-specific support is needed, sessions will be planned around the coursework brief, assessment criteria, and guidance provided by the student’s school.
Initial Consultation
Portfolio mentoring begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation. This allows me to meet the student, review their current work, understand their goals and challenges, and determine whether we are a good fit.
Following the consultation, I can recommend a tailored approach and discuss possible next steps with the parent and student.
Location and Materials
Lessons are available at my home near Amsterdam’s Olympic Stadium or in the student’s home.
Materials are included for creative lessons at my location. For lessons held in the student’s home, students will need to provide their own materials; I am happy to advise on what to purchase in advance.
Home visits within approximately 15 minutes of my location are included in the hourly rate. Lessons farther away may be possible by arrangement and may include an additional travel fee based on location and travel time.
Online lessons are also available for students in other areas or time zones.
